🎒Create a Data Backpack
The following steps will help you set up your Data Backpack for the first time.
Note: You will need an Ethereum compatible wallet! We currently support any Browser Wallet, Metamask, Rainbow, WalletConnect, and Zerion.

Setup
First, head to https://app.disco.xyz/ on your browser and click on Connect to connect your wallet
Select the Wallet that you want to use
Once you have connected your wallet, you will see a pop-up modal to create your Data Backpack.
Signing TWO messages to create a Data Backpack
You will now be asked to provide two signatures from your wallet.
The first time will connect you to our Disco website, and the second signature will be to create your DID, or Decentralized Identifier.
Signing these two requests does not interact with tokens and will not access any funds in your wallet.
The first signature allows Disco to enable the decentralized identifier you just made, and the second allows Disco to generate your DID. Together, you have a data backpack.
That's it! Your Data Backpack has been created! 🎉🎒
